⭐ Trail of the Day

Get to know Okemo! Every day, we highlight one of Okemo's 127 trails. Today's trail is

🟢 Upper Mountain Road

Upper Mountain Road is the postcard view of Okemo. It's a long, winding and sometimes flat trail through a tunnel of snow-capped evergreens. There's a few lookouts to stop at gawk at the views of southern Vermont and Killington to the north.

You'll want to keep up your speed to make it over a few flat to slightly uphill spots on the trail, but it's worth it. Sorry boarders, you'll probably have to unclip a few times.

Unlike all the other trails on the mountain, this is actually a paved road. In the summer, you can park near the gate and stroll up to the summit.

Upper Mountain Road continues on to Mountain Road and Lower Mountain Road, but the upper section is by far the most tranquil and picturesque part.
