⭐ Trail of the Day

Get to know Okemo! Every day, we highlight one of Okemo's 127 trails. Today's trail is

🟦 Jolly Green Giant

Jolly Green Giant may be the most misunderstood trail on the mountain.

First, people may quickly read the "green" in its name and assume it's a easy trail. It's actually an intermediate (blue) trail.

Second, it's narrower than most other trails off the Main Face. It tends to get skied off quickly, revealing a couple icy headwalls to those who were expecting a cruiser.

Third, because it's very straight, people tend to ski it fast like the other advanced trails next door like Nor'easter

Those three factors should make it an advanced trail in our book. If you do Jolly Green Giant, do it early in the day for the best experience.
