⭐ Trail of the Day

Get to know Okemo! Every day, we highlight one of Okemo's 127 trails. Today's trail is

🟦 Side Out

Side Out

Side Out (not to be confused with Side Kick) is an appropriately named exit from Sidewinder. It can also be accessed from the top of the Morning Star Triple, but it does require crossing Sidewinder and going up a short bit.

We're unsure why Side Out is a necessary trail. Connecting trails like these usually allow you to get somewhere you couldn't otherwise get to. It brings you to the other side of the Solitude Express Quad, but it's not difficult to get to that side by going around the bottom of the lift. If you're determined to get to Day Break, then it's a little shorter. It is more gentle than the bottom of Sidewinder, but both are considered intermediate trails.
