⭐ Trail of the Day

Get to know Okemo! Every day, we highlight one of Okemo's 127 trails. Today's trail is

🟦 Rum Run

Rum Run

To experience Upper Mountain Road (one of our favorites) without going to South Face, then Rum Run is the way to get there from the Main Face summit. The upper section is flat or slightly uphill, lined with trees. Then you stare down the headwall. It's not too long, but it's steep and the other side immediately rises up to Mountain Road.

Watch for people standing on the other side on Upper Mountain Road before beginning your descent.

You'll probably be busy preserving your momentum to notice the entrance to the bottom half of The Narrows in the gulley, but it's an option.
